This was an amazing meal of food from the south of Thailand that my family and I had on a recent trip to Koh Lipe and Satun in the deep south of Thailand. The restaurant in this video is called “Nong Nee”. The Google Maps coordinates for restaurant are: 6.610374, 100.067638 and it is open every day from 11am till 9pm.

Check our my recent video: Thai Food Guide: 10 Delicious Thai Foods You Should Eat in Thailand 2017

Satun is in the south of Thailand, on the border with Malaysia. It has some of the most beautiful islands in Thailand, including Koh Lipe, as well as waterfalls, national parks and the food there is amazing! There is plenty of delicious Thai street food at the food markets and some amazing Thai restaurants too. We ate some scrumptious Thai food while we were traveling in Satun!

You’ll find Thai street food on many street corners in Thailand, as well as at every market, be it in Koh Lipe, Satun, Krabi, Phuket, Bangkok or Pattaya. Thai food markets are one of the best places to buy fresh and authentic Thai food while you travel in Thailand. There are loads of Thai food markets and night market all over Thailand, you’re never far from one. At the markets you’ll find so many Thai dishes on offer and the foods here are cheap, and so tasty! And in case you’re worried, eating Thai street food is perfectly safe. It’s what the locals eat and it is cooked fresh and sold quickly. I’ve been eating it nearly daily since I moved to Thailand in 2012 and my friends who have been to visit and tour Thailand have all eaten it, and none of us have had any problems. Thai street food is some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Thailand!

The markets in Thailand are also a great place to get an insight into Thai culture while you travel in Thailand. You can shop alongside the locals and learn what they buy and eat. And the markets are a great place to try traditional Thai street foods, learn Thai recipes and cooking, as well as eat some of the best Thai dishes in Thailand. You’ll see the people cooking the food right in front of you. And best of all, the food is cheap, often much cheaper than eating in a Thai restaurant. Eating at markets is a good way to eat cheap on your Thailand holidays.

Make sure you check out some Thai food markets on your trip to Thailand, and be sure to sample some of the amazing Thai street food that’s available in Thailand! If you want to try some of the most delicious food in the world be sure to visit Thailand!

I post new Thailand food and travel videos and vlogs every Wednesday about Thailand: places to see, things to do, tours, Thai food, Thailand markets, Thai festivals & culture, street food, Thai recipes, eating Thai food, hotels, resorts, villas, restaurants, Thailand holidays, tourism, accommodation & Thailand travel, including Satun, Phuket, Ao Nang, Krabi and other Thailand destinations.

Krabi is about 2-3 hours from Phuket by land or sea, and has world class accommodation standards comparable to what you find in Phuket hotels and resorts, but in a more relaxed environment.

If you’re looking into Thailand Hotels have a look at hotels and resorts in Krabi. The islands and beaches of Krabi are famous for Thailand holidays, the movie The Beach was filmed on Krabi’s Koh Phi Phi Island.

I do not own the music in this video.

The first song is Mondays by Joakim Karud

The second song was provided by NoCopyrightSounds (NCS)

The song is Itro and Tobu – Cloud 9 [NCS Release]

In all your videos I don't think I have ever seen that much of a reaction to something spicy by both of you. Soup would probably burn a hole through a manhole cover. :)

Hi Darren, another fantastic video mate. You always make me hungry for yummy Thai food. My wife and I will be in Aonang next month and can't wait. Do you know if there is much of a problem with Malaria and Thyphoid in the Krabi area? I've been to Phuket many times and never heard of those tropical diseases spreading around there. Cheers Craig
